You're strumming on my heart strings like you were a grade eight, I've never felt this way.

My easter reading.

My kitty, I've missed her dearly!

Well hello there, long time no see eh? Apologies about not posting regularly, uni gets very busy sometimes! I've just finished term for Easter, it's nice to be home! 3 weeks sounds like a long time but I'm sure it'll fly by. Then I only have 4 weeks until exams start, eep! My break will be spent revising, reading, baking, seeing friends and family, going to Manchester to see a lovely boy, and hopefully getting my first tattoo! I'll show you all when it's done :)

How are you all spending your easter?

One and only

Hello lovelies, hope you're having a chilled weekend :) I think I deserve a weekend to relax, I've been working non-stop all week! Been to the library more times than I care to count. Today I've watched the football in the bar (don't worry, I don't like football that much, it's me remember!), and will watch a film tonight I reckon. And tomorrow will be much the same, minus football and plus laundry!

Anyway, last weekend when my sister came to Liverpool for the day I bought a lovely dress from H&M. Here's a preview :) I'll get a better picture when I'm not constantly in my "study-wear" (ie hoody and jeans!)...

Looks like my fringe has well and truly grown out, hallelujah! I'm not too sure what to do with my hair at the moment, I want to keep growing it but it's so thick that when it gets past a certain length, my waves disappear :( I like having wavy hair. Best just have a trim to keep it healthy eh!

I can't believe it's March already, how weird is that? Swear it was only a few weeks ago I was unpacking all my stuff from Christmas! Only got 3 weeks left until Easter, too. Then it's one more term and that's my first year gone! Ridiculous.

Has anyone bought Glamour this month? I recieved the Percy & Reed Finishing Polish free with my issue. It smells lovely, but I am slightly stumped... do you put it on wet or dry hair? This is probably a really obvious question but will someone grace me with an answer please, dying to try it out!

Anyway I shan't ramble much longer, it's tea time soon and then i'll change into my trackies and relax for the rest of the night :) Take Me Out anyone? ;)

Do you think we'll be in love forever?

Hello everyone, apologies for the absence in blogging, but here's a post! Yesterday my sister visited me in Liverpool for the day, and I had a lovely time with her. We crammed a lot into the day I must admit! Went for coffee, shopping, went for a walk on the docks and to the Tate - oh and Nando's! Naturally. It was lovely to see her, and here are a few pictures from the day:

I really enjoyed the free exhibitions at the Tate, especially the one curated by Carol Ann Duffy, one of my favourite poets (see a snippet of her work above).

twenty-two: sunday nothings #5.

♥; Such a busy week I've had! Lectures started again, it was great to get back into the routine of messing around with my coursemates. Practicals start this week, so it'll be even busier!

♥; I've reorganised my Uni room and loving it atm. Feels much more "me" :) I posted about it earlier in the week.

♥; Everyone's been blogging or tweeting about snow, but sadly in Liverpool all we've had is ice and slush! It was so icy yesterday, we were slipping around town!

twenty one - tea & interiors.

Typing this at silly-o-clock as I can't sleep! It's been my first proper week back at University this week, busy busy. Nice busy though, was lovely to see all my coursemates again. Today we had a GIS lecture (geographical information systems to you and me!) which was horrendously boring as per usual. Me and my oceans coursemates passed the time reading the paper and doing sudoku ;) After this I went to my friend's flat for a brew and a natter, before going back to my own room for tea!

I bought some lovely new posters today from the union, they were very cheap so why not eh? Anything to brighten up my dismally decorated halls room...

Ok so the first photo isn't my room, this is a purchase I made on a whim whilst wandering round tesco the other day. Peppermint tea is apparently very good for you, so I thought why not. It's got a lovely flavour :)

Here is the first of my new poster purchases - a Breakfast at Tiffany's one, no less! It's huge, nearly as tall as me!

This poster has been up since freshers, I love it. Moved it on to my wardrobe (note my gingerbread man tin full of sweets!)

My favourite purchase of the day - for £3.50, a MASSIVE antique world map poster. And I mean massive! The sheet of paper to the right of it is A4, to put it into perspective...

I've moved all my pictures of the nearest and dearest on to my front wall, along with all my magazine clippings/bits and bobs to the right.

What do you think then, do you like it? :) How do you spruce up your uni rooms if you live in halls?
